has anyone had any experience with these turbos? especially the s300? I have spoken to AET turbos and they have said this turbo is the equivalent to a GT4094, but is £600 quid cheaper, mainly due to the fact that Garrett over charge for their BB turbos. Would this turbo be suitable on a bridge port 13B?

s300 would be on the small side -- most people who have the BW turbos on ported rotaries usually go the s475

All depends on what you want out of the car.. i myself have a to4r and should of went one of the bw\'s over it garrett..

thats what i have discovered so far with the BW, im just thinking that the s475 may be a little big?? as it is basically a GT42 sized turbo?

i think the only let down to the garrett all singing all dancing BB turbos is the the price!! its just stupid.

Going over to AET turbos friday as they sell a wide range of turbos, was hoping there would have been a few people willing to give some advice, as i dont want to buy something which is essentially a waste of money.

bw s475 would also be my choice.

they spool very well for there size, basically choose your power and spool by your turbine a/r size.

but i doubt its cheap to buy them in the uk, get them ordered from abroad.

i remember speaking with AET and the S475 was more like £800 or there abouts..

Read recently in the latest Banazai mag that borg warner are releasing new turbos and they look awesome for decent money. They are called EFR (Engineered For Racing). I wouldnt mind giving one a go! very decent spec

I have got the information on those turbos from AET that can supply them, They are essentially the same price as the garret BB turbos, so not exactly cheap, they go from a 62mm compressor with a 55mm turbine , to 91mm compressor with an 80mm turbine, starting at 375HP all the way up to 1000HP.

do they have a price for the 8374 0.94A/r?

I can find out for you if you want? What type of turbine housing? Single or twin scroll?

marco

if you could that would be great, i am weighing up my options at the mo. I would be after twinscroll, internal WG.

If your willing to pay that for a turbo then i think you are completely bonkers.

Thats probably about right for a decent turbo, the T88 I have is discounted on sale for £1,800!

Yes but paying that kind of money for a turbo is only worth it if your chasing those extra few tenths in circuit racing or drag racing, where it makes a difference between champion or the first of the losers.

The T88 you have got would be considered old tech by these new EFR range of turbos, apparently theyare going to be the ahead of the pack with these bad boys especially with the Titanium Aluminide turbine wheels which are actually lighter than forged aluminium from what i have seen so spool up on these things is going to be good, especially when compared to the inconel turbine wheels that most other turbos use.

If i get my rx4 to a stage in drag racing it that i need those extra little bits, i will definately be looking at one of these.
