Will be looking for an FD later this year,

However going from something that sounds like this http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3OGCXqEEl6k

Just wondered what a tuned up Rotary sounds like. Most of the vids I found on youtube were dyno runs or just reving on the drive

I\'m not sure a rotary will match thrill of a v8 or similar. Even my old MG ZT V8 sounded awesome. Check out this video on YouTube:

In comparison my mild tune rx7 sounded a bit flat, I\'m sure the new big tune motor will sound better but not like that TVR video.
The 3 rotor Rx8\'s at Daytona sounded crazy but \'nice\'.

That video was done by mounting the camera on my towbar :) there are some of my RX from a few years ago but sound from the camera is not good and it was a mild port, small single turbo back then.
They are all under my YouTube account/Chanel - as well my Mg stuff, and that sounds lovely too. :)

I like this one for two reasons. Its a good sounding car and its as funny as hell, forst for the camera man ....ting himself when it backfires and then for the guy running around to blow on the exhaust when its on fire :p

Sweet jesus!

How do you go about fitting extra roters?

Basically you hand your credit car, life savings and bank account details to your local rotary tuner and once they\'ve reaped you of all you have then you may have a 4 rotor car :p
You need to buy 2 extra rotors, 2 housings, a cutom made shaft, an ECU that\'ll handle it all and then lots of extra stuff and a whole heap of tuning on top of that. Im no expert but you here numbers as high as £25k being batted about

or if you want 3 rotor\'s you buy a 20b engine or a Eunos Cosmo, then carry out an engine swap!. Think theres still a fair bit of custom work to be done though

IIRC the cost is nearer 50k for a properly crazy bespoke build...

worth it for the sound alone though..... neeeeeeeeeeeeoooooooooooowwwwwwwwww formula 1 stylee ;)
