does anyone know if its possible?  will a egi bellhousing bolt up to a tii gearbox?  reason being i have bought a mean twin plate clutch/flywheel setup and found out the flywheel is for a non-turbo.  the company does not make a flywheel for turbo models, not sure why, and just tryn to see what my options are

Are you sure the clutch is correct for a T2 then? IIRC the splints are different on the shaft...

What he said - different number of splines between EGI and T2 - T2 and FD are same number of splines.

I also think the T2 bell housing has different bolt pattern to EGI.

didnt think about that part.  the flywheel is 116 tooth.  what i dont get is, why would you make a flywheel that you could bolt on a twin and even a triple plate clutch for a non turbo:xconfused

can anyone confirm they have different bolt pattern at the bellhousing?  not trying to force this to work, but just making sure i have explored every angle before i send it back off and try to get my money back for it

thanks for the info

i believe on a non turbo the clutch spline is 22 tooth...and turbo is 23.  i bought 2x 23 tooth clutch plates just didnt realize the flywheel was for non turbo until i bolted it on the motor and saw the difference

Go buy a FD flywheel, they are lighter and fix straight onto a FC lump.
