Diffuser

I\'m going to pick up a diffuser in belgium this weekend, and fitting it asap.
Only one (probably stupid) question....
 
How the hell do you fit it? Pop rivets?? Screws??? Glue? Badgersemen??

side parts on mine were bonded and riveted in to place then the bottom part bolts to those side pieces... rivnuts would prob be the best for the side parts.

I\'m not sure the consistency of the badger juice!  Badgers are pretty viscous at the best of times.....but trying to spank them off to collect their spud juice might annoy them!
 
I would just use dome head bolts M5. Use a rivnut to hold the bolt in place.

I would atleast make sure you can remove it if needed, so dont glue it!
if you need to get to your exhaust or diff you will have a problem..

There\'s three pieces, 2 curved "uprights", and the big pice, diffuser.
I intend to drill holes in the uprights, and poprivet those to the rear bumper sides.
Drill holes in the other side of the uprights (bottom side) and put the diffuser in place, mark the upright holes on the diffuser, drill holes there and use nuts and bolts to mount the diffuser onto the uprights. There\'s also 2 mounting points on the front side of the diffuser, probably to mount it to the rear subframe.

Oh, and I only managed to .... the badger off rubbing it harder. ....... scratched me.

Okay, so here\'s how I did it:
 

 
Drilled holes in the flat part of the uprights, marked those holes on the underside of the rear fender, drilled there too.
 
Drilled holes in the under edge of the uprights.
 
With screws and washers I attached the uprights to the fenders.
 
Using a wooden board ductaped to the diffuser, I jacked up the diffuser onto the car and positioned it in the place it needs to be.
 
Marked the holes of the uprights to the diffuser.
 
Lowered the diffuser, and drilled holes in it where I marked it.
 

 
Using 2 metal strips I made "brackets" to bolt the front end of the diffuser to the metal bit the fuel tank is attached to, differential-side.
 
On top of the diffuser, I drilled 2 small holes, both in the diffuser edge, as well as the frame the license plate is bolted to.
 
Once again i jacked up the diffuser, bolted the metal brackets to the fuel tank metal.
Poprivets went through the diffuser/uprights, and poprivets went through the diffuser/license plate frame.
 
 
Finished article, solid as a rock!
