Hi RX7

It went for £6700 in the end what a bargain!

I know its a crazy market.......AND to make it even worse the top bidder made up some excuse about someone using his account and he doesnt want it!!
Wish i had the money! I tol dthe customer to wait until later in the year but I think he just wants the cash.

Hi RX7

Crazy there is a guy in my local Jap car Club who was looking for one and I advised him to get a late standard one to start with so I\'ll post him as he was not around the forum when it was on e-bay.

Hi RX7

It\'s a pity that the tax man is about to mug me for a considerable sum of money otherwise I\'d buy it as a spare.

I saw a good scam the other day after someone was stitched up on ebay after a bidder didnt come through!

Set up a "2nd" ebay account, if you sell something and the buyer doesnt come through, email them from your 2nd account and say something like, im gutted i missed the end of the auction i see you are the winning bidder and if you would say sell the item for "x" more £\'s i will pay cash and collect asap when you have received the item!

I have recently set up an account and bought a few random items to get my feedback up a little with the very intention of the above in mind! Helps if you have a pay as you go phone to, give them a number to call and it makes the whole thing even more realistic, especially if they call!

Theres no real defence to non paying bidders and time wasters. Ebay dont care and ends up taking ages to get your money back for the advert or free re listing!

How many times have you seen an advert with re listed due to time waster!

The above isnt guaranteed to work but if it does just once its worth it.
