hi guys can anyone help me my fc heater matrix is leaking coolant how can i fix this please?

Mine took me ages to find. I was leaking from one of the pipes that go through the bulk head. It had a dint in the pipe from when I had a gearbox changed. You couldn\'t see it as it was on the underside of the pipe and it was right where the jubilee clip sits. It was tracking inside the car and into the passenger footwell.

Depending on what antifreeze you\'re using, some of them will flouresce under blacklight (UV lamp). you might be able to find the leak that way.

As Tiddles says, those pipes on the bulkhead are soft despite being metal, and crumple easily.

Are you sure it\'s definitely heater matrix leaking ? Antifreeze smell and moisture in the car ?

hi guys it started just after i had the engine rebuilt, when it started to lose coolant, i then noticed a smell of coolant in the cabin & the passenger floor soaking wet, as a result i pulled out the two hoses going into the cabin & connected them together which stopped the leak but no heater so dam cold

probably need a replacement matrix then - as you\'ve got fluid on the inside.

mine was in the engine bay but leaked inside the car. Double check the pipes first as its a dash out job to change the matrix.

Yes I still got some of the white one left, I have a t78 kit with downside for a fc

That happened to me on my last drift day. Scary as all the steam came out from the dash. Had to take whole dash off to change that. And the gear stick as well. Good chance to tidy all things up
