Leave it....more important things are afoot

[Nik da Greek]

OI! Leave that turkey alone, there\'s something far more important going on this weekend...namely my 10 000 post party . Yep, purely in the interests of science, furthering the wonderful fraternity of the rotary community, and most importantly, crushing Brett\'s futile efforts to reach 10k first underfoot lol, one has reached the landmark of 10 000 marvelous, informative and witty posts on this fine august forum :o *ahem*

The perfect antidote to the Queens speech, cold sprouts, bland turkey, random long lost aunties, lovely knitwear and foul catpee aftershave presents and pretending to actually like and tolerate your family, and all the other torture you\'re forced into at Christmas, come join the 10k post party, debauchery and filth obligatory. No-one leaves until they\'re either blind or lost the use of their legs through booze .....so quite a lot like Christmas dinner now I actually think about it

Party on dudes  :rollin Be excellent to each other :Ladys-man

[shaunwil]

Well done

Tis the Party Season !

[captainbizzaro]

And I thought I was the man when I hit 1k, good work!

[Nik da Greek]

Bit wobbly now! Had to fight my way out of a mound of wrapping paper and three-year old\'s toys back here for a dose of sanity! :rollin

actually, some of those toys for three year olds are great fun nowadays :o

[captainbizzaro]

Wait till he\'s on Technic Lego Nik, then let the good times roll!

[Nik da Greek]

Lol, actually I still have a load of Lego Technic from when I was younger stored for when the li\'l un\'s old enough fo rme to justify playing with it again...errrrm, I mean helping him with it :o.

Mind you, have you seen the fduking prices of some of it nowadays ? Jeeeeessssuuuss! And there\'s me needing to save an extra 27 grand for tuition fees for him, too !

[captainbizzaro]

Tell me about it, all the three boys are on it now, our eldest got a crane it cost something like £80. I purely speculate as I was crying into my battered bank account when the wife came back from christmas shopping and couldn\'t hear her due to my own sobbing. And to top it all off my youngest is a girl and has just got into Sylvanian Families, now that .... seems too be more valuable than gold, £15 for a picnic hamper gimme a break!

Happy Christmas btw lol.

[Ada7]

Congrats on your 10k post dude. They\'ve all been brilliant in far to many ways for me to list :D
I\'ve got a couple of days off now so i\'ll have to have a drink in your honor :Party

Adam

P.S. As for you having some Technic lego.... whats sets would you have by chance?
