I am planning on a 50mm wastegate:

Is that suitable?

Also, I\'m trying to put together an intercooler, does anyone know what size I should be starting with?  Either Front mount or V-mount, no particular decision made yet.

Engine will hopefully be tuned to around 500-600hp (engine output)

Thanks,

James

Hi James, wishing u luck with your 20b. Since I own one, I believe I can advise. I used 60mm wastegate. As far intercooler is concered, I m using front mount intercooler-it worked for me really well. I had FMIC from trust, but now bought very big intercooler as I m hoping and aiming for over 900bhp. For 600 to 700bhp, I think the FMIC I have wud do u good. According to my experience, among other things, u should look for thickness in any intercooler as this matter the most according to some famouse tuners like Gabby Skern from peurtrico. There are other things as well but look for thickness and length. Hope the information helps. Regards Syed

What size is was your old FMIC?  Any advice you can give on a radiator?

Cheers,

I m using PWR radiator. Its perfect and works really good on my 20b. For 600 to 1000 BHP, this radiator would work perfectly. I don\'t know the exact size of my FMIC, but I will let you know once I get my car back. Where abouts you live? if you live near WGT, you can go there and speak with Pip. He will show you the Intercooler of my car.

Probably won\'t be space to do a good vmount with the size of the 20B. We are in the middle of a few. Just run a FMIC, with the bigger radiator you can get. Also You will want a 60mm gate as mentioned..
