Yeh, and better intelligence has flown into and out of the bird bath as well, particularly when dubbyah was \'in office\'.

I\'m watching the flakes come down on the corner of Sloane Street & Bromptin rd, very picturesque - can\'t upload pics via this phone though :-/

Mmmmmm.....Berluti Shop is just round the corner Brett. Harriet St?  Super nice quality shoes in there (but no good for the snow).

Well last night it dropped another foot on us in South Yorks. About 15 inches now and more coming we\'re told. All the street is at home today, papers got here but no post and no milkman, though there\'s time for Bob the milk yet.

Damn, thats some good snow!

Nothing like that anywhere around the west midlands. We had it about that deep last year, especially on top of the Malverns, got some great sledging in. Even built an igloo big enough for 6 of us to sit in and get drunk!

This was work last night .....

Spent a lot of time going very very slowly or dead stop and wondering how long before the train froze to the rails :( Getting back from Bedford at 4 am meant weapons-grade driving skills and a frontiersman\'s ability to overcome the elements :D Even then I got back with a set of motors blown up on the unit due to overflashing from the spinning :o She got us home though, which is more than I can say for a lot of the trains we passed, when I got to Gatwick Airport there was a Gatwick Express failed right across the junction just off the platform, still full of passngers but totally dead in the water, no lights.... presumably no heat either. South of the station was one of our trains that had failed...so they\'d sent another one to couple up and drag it out the way....and that failed too :rollin Never been so glad to finish work or too see Brighton as getting back at 7 this morning

Spent half an hour sat trying to get into Redhill because two trains had falied in one platform and the other platform had a train in with no guard cos he was stuck on a different train, so it couldn\'t run :Hammer

When one goes past on another line it\'s pretty impressive, not that you can tell from this rubbish phone pic, but this is an Alpha blatting by at ~80 with all his shoe gear arcing and flashing and a huge cloud of snow being blown up around
