which gauges ?

I\'m planning on getting a tripple gauge pod for where the center speaker is and am just wondering if anyone could suggest which gauges would be most worth while getting

at the mo I\'m thinking oil temp , water temp and A/F ratio

I just want to be able to keep a better eye on what the engine is doing

Yeah already got a boost gauge , by the way whats EGT ? is it exhaust gas temp ? if so why is that so important ?

Apart from the Power FC i have oil temp / boost / exhaust temp.

Think they are all essential in knowing your car is running well:)

just seen some digital gauges that have two read outs on them  , gonna have a look whas around might give me some more ideas

Good choises with the oil and water temps, but I would swap the AFR for an oil pressure gauge.

think it\'s probably similar to the water temp one in that it doesn\'t really tell you anything specific till it\'s probably too late......& the one Fish mentions would be good for telling if anything was awry etc (dont quote the ignorant one, ie me, on that mind...)

Been loking at some dual gauges with digital readouts , come up with a combination that I think would cover most thinks

Oil temp/Oil pressure
water temp/Fuel pressure
Intake temp/Exhaust temp

what are peoples thoughts , I think these are the same gauges Fish has SPA Design

Mine are oil temp/press. in one gauge, and inlet and EGT in the other.

I am not that fussed about getting a water temp gauge as the oil temp will give me an idea of whats going on. I.E. if the car is up to temp for full play mode or not.

what did the gauges cost you ? and did you get the senders and everything or did you have to get them seperate?

Yeap, they are SPA dual guages. They have now release another colour backlighting.

They came with all the sensors/sendors expect the EGT probes. Which I would still have bought my own anyway.

Cant remember what I paid as I bought them about 4 years ago.
