Just wanted to introduce myself, new member here, based in Aberdeenshire, not got an RX-7 yet but am on the look out for a nice one!

Car history includes Westfields, Caterhams, VX220 and now a Mini Cooper S JCW (210bhp) - which is also for sale so if anyone fancies a swop let me know! :D

Anyone about in the local area, would love to meet up see your RX-7 and talk about what to look for and avoid.

Cheers

Fit\'lik Kev,
I\'m frae Aberdeen too,I\'m more into motorsport like hillclimb/sprint rather that cuising(Roadposher).
where about you ? B.O.D,B.O.Dee..........

Hi Rotorheid

I am up near Turriff. I am into road runs and trackdays, its been a long time since I did any competition driving.

So do you hillclimb in an RX-7?

Cheers
Kevin

RotorHeid

yes, 18 years off/on and have won three 2010 A8 maque sportcar class tiltie in Scottish hillclimb championship,Scottish sprint championship and Highland speed championship.
very pleased with it.
Boyndie\'s the nearest to Turr\'ff and scottish sprint championship took place there...

having a rotary car up north\'ll be very difficult for anyone as there\'s no specialist or tuner etcccc... in Scotland and only doon south somewhere in Englandshire.

The nearest one\'s WGT Deveoplement,it\'s based in Chester near Manchester( me think!) and it\'s  the top rotarytuner in UK.....
 hope it help

Aye aye lad.  I am in Aberdeen too but no Rotary for me. I had the V8 engine first and had to find a chassis to run it in so FD3S for me.  The car only comes out to play at trackdays at Knockhill though.

Thanks for the welcome guys, nice to see afew about in the local area.

A V8 in an RX7 sounds good, funnily enough I was just chatting about a conversion the same!! Which V8 did you put in?

Hope to meet up with you somewhere
