Had a buddy sell an old skool 3 series recently. The chap came from Essex, a good 150 miles, looked the car over, handed over the dough, drove it all the way back to Essex and then phoned up to complain it wasnt as good as he thought!!

Left negative feedback an all, yet 4 hours earlier he had been stood right next to it!!

The only time I\'ve been ripped off was from a member on here and FDUK.

Bristol :confused:? I know Oscar had a few of us, he was down in like Poole though IIRC. That was actually my first experience of being gang raped by the buyer, eBay and PayPal all rolled  into one, sadly not my last. Paypal protection has to be the biggest lie since Moses came back from Arrarrat with his laundry list under his arm and thought "I wonder how many of the tribes I can take in if I tell them this is the Word of God".....

buying from ebay is as safe as they will always side with the buyer.

as long as you have proof of delivery. if they start playing games just contact the Financial Ombudsman Service(fos) took about 10 mins and within 4 weeks I had a full refund and if they don\'t give you the answer you want then you contact the fos again who then look into them selfs and if they find anything wrong or unfair they take action using the FSA

I was told ebay would receive a £300 fee for the fos services
