Should i sell this exhaust?

Hello,

My FC came with an exhaust which is ment for a top mounted system but the cars basicly standard so have the standard turbo etc,

I could either try and get a custom downpipe that\'ll cost somewhere between £150-£200 or sell my current one and buy a cheap ebay system like below?



I wont be able to afford a top mount or may sell the car before i can afford one so cant rly see the point in keeping it as it is...

So how much honestly do people feel its worth, it looks like a tasty bit of kit and if its not worth what i think it is ill get the downpipe made.

That exhaust will fit onto a standard turbo without too much modification to the downpipe. be a dam sight cheaper than buying an exhaust for it unless you are lucky to buy a decent 2nd hand one. looks like a 4 bolt turbo fit so highly likely a aftermarket exhaust manifold which will bring the turbo out and up generally. keep with that exhaust as it looks to be ok,just pay someone to mate it to the standard turbo,you can use the flange of your standard exhaust to mate to the turbo. That one in your first pick will be loud, I had one of those with the twin boxes and that was just about ok. Good quality though for what you pay for them.

I saw that exhuast on it\'s previous car. It hangs very low and i personally didn\'t like how it sounded. Pretty rattly and high pitched.

The ebay one with a racing beat silencer is where its at imo. Takes out all the rubbish sounding noises

ive been running that ebay exhaust for 2 years and it made my life hell. Specially when the waste gate opens it sounds like the worlds ending!

Thought you might have heard it on something or maybe asked the person it came from, it is always one of my first question when it comes to exhaust buying.

ive got the ebay system and yes its loud but i love it when you give it some but is generally annoying on long drives unless you use the supplied bung

lol that is some wonderful noise for me. normally i put on that thingy at the end to keep the cops here happy. when im going for a drive out in the country i will take it out and what a difference it makes!
