What is the purpose of this hose?

I have a small split in the blue hose next to the charge relief valve in the diagram (the one that comes off the ypipe towards the rear turbo) I was just wondering what this hose does and if this would cause any problems.

The diagram can be seen here

Thanks

if its the charge control valve line then it may well cause issues with secondary turbo. The charge control valve opens when secondary turbo starts boosting, before then its closed and all pre-spool boost is vented via the charge relief valve. If the vacuum hose is split, the charge control valve may or may not function correctly.

I would think most likely you\'d feel a loss of boost, either if its stuck open and primary charge vents via charge relief or if stays closed and all secondary boost is vented via charge relief.

Thanks for the reply but i dont think it\'s that.  It doesn\'t lead to an actuator.  I also dont have any problems with boost apart from the changeover being mapped incorrectly. There is a sharp jolt just before the second turbo kicks in but this only seems to happens once, the jolts then get less and less as time goes on.

I will try to change it anyway, i was just interested in what it does.
