series 3 engine loom wanted

has anyone got a s3 engine loom going spare?....... not the ignition side that goes to the ignitors and dizzy, but the loom with the big plug that plugs in on the nearside of the engine bay and feeds the solenoids on top of the engine ( the loom with the different coloured plugs.)

Will have a look at work tomorrow, I have 2 engines at work but cant remember if I left the loom on when I took them out.

By the way, I think s2 looms have a different plug on them to the s3, unless anyone knows differently... so I think it has to be a s3 loom.

I never realised until you said that I\'ve got a different alternator on my car. The other 1st gen alternators I\'ve got have got the external fans. Any idea what the crack is with this one?
Is it:
a 1st gen item / variation?
or off a different model?
and the same or higher output?
what do you think?

From memory the internal fan alt is 65A and was fitted to s3 cars, I have a feeling that the external fan alt was lower output.
The loom may be different with the extra wire for the external fan.

that\'s interesting because when I first bought this car, I noticed that the volt meter took the electrical loads better and seemed to charge higher than on my red car  which had the ext fan alt.
