Hey people,

im going to be fitting my exhaust soon and would like to increase the boost abit so i need an ecu...

Found this ECU on ebay which seems like a good price...

http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/MAZDA-RX7-TURBO-II-STAGE-1-N374-ECU-FC3S-13BT-FC-FC3C-/290490716872?pt=UK_CarsParts_Vehicles_CarParts_SM&hash=item43a29892c8#ht_930wt_905

Is this a good choice for the price? is there another people would recommend?

Ill be drifting my FC so i cant have an ecu without a limiter...

i have a 1989 UK Convertible turbo FC would that be the correct ECU for my car?

Cheers
Alex

I don\'t know that chip name - might be worth investigating to see what they are known for - might be safer to stick to the more well known tuner brands - Panspeed, Knightsports, Blitz - there are quite a few of these ECU\'s on and off on ebay.

+ one to what prof has said.

The more well know tuners will have better maps in place too

any for sale people can think of?

there used to be a guy on ebay who had a selection. TBH they are pretty rare, if you\'re in a rush then it looks like it will do the job. Alternatively you could purchase a FCD and wait untill a proper ecu comes along

There\'s a few out there from time to time - found a panspeed:

Not sure if he still has it, but Brett was selling a Blitz Access one some time ago...
