hello,

I recently got my first FC that came with quite a nice exhaust system and id like to fit it but... my understanding is the back of the FC turbo is 3 stud, but the exhaust system ive got has a down pipe with 4 holes i guess originally from a larger turbo.

heres a couple of pictures the exhaust ive got :)

if this is the issue can i bolt the back box/mid section to the standard downpipe?or can i buy a downpipe that bolts to the standard turbo but is 3"

Thanks for the advice!
Alex

take it to powerflow and get the flange on the exhuast changed?

to me it looks like a pricey exhaust so id rather not go changing it, keep it aside just in case i get a big turbo :) or sell it to someone that does :)

wait a sec. ERC? think this came of brians purple FC which had a pretty big tub on it, was capable of 400 atw or something. It\'s a nice exhaust but it hangs pretty low, I\'d address that if you take it to power flow or somewhere

I hope its no too low as my cars quite grounded with a standard system.

I was gonna take the whole system to a local custom exhaust place see if they can make a down pipe to fit the rest of the system

dthebuk

his car wasn\'t that low. TBH if you get another dp made you can run shorter runners or shorten the hangers and it would be fine
