hi guys just taken my apexi air filters off (cone) because they look a bit dirty and i want to clean them .

im not sure how to though as i have heard a lot of confilcting info i.e.. dont get them wet only blow them clean , wash them and leave them to dry out , use and replace so on so on ....

i am now very confused and now unsure of what to do with them :xconfused

any help will be apreciated

cheers joel

yehreally

post a pic to show what condition they are in as Apexi should be maintenance free :yes

How long do they last then if they are Maint free ?

I think I can post a pic tomorrow how do I get pics on here ?

Cheers

They are designed tobe replaced, not cleaned. Filter heads are 50 quid or so each :)

trotter

i took a stiff bristled brush to mine and gave them a good seeing to!!

They look fine!

I think your far better off leaving them as is rather then possibly screwing them up by trying to clean them, other than that a good vacumn. Until they are black,..... don\'t worry! ;)
