Hi Rob & welcome.
Great collection of fillies there - just got to get launching those photographs as you\'ve got us drooling for more now.
What a shame to be off the road, can\'t you try for just one next year?

sold for 500 quid

Strong money for a 1st gen, off road for 10 years, missing its engine and needing work.
A project for someone.... wonder if a rotary will go back in it?

.

CHC (RIP)

Ye have been watching it - something not quite right about it though.
Owner said 80/81 but spoiler only came along with the series 2 and also \'A\' plated (1984 me thinks)?
If the body condition is as good as implied I would have gone to those figures for sure (my wife keeps muttering something about having a good but don\'t know what she\'s on about).
Surely a rotary has to go back into it!

Think it\'s come in from somewhere else quite early in it\'s life. DVLA says 1984 car but 1st Reg in early 1985. The \'A\' fits with 1984. Also it had S3 wheels on ebay? Again ties it to 1984/85.

Somehow it\'s got something this car.....interesting lot for a 1st time buyer?

What about the latest edition to eBay - £1900, one lady owner with 54K and mainly kept in garage!  Despite the bruising on the front nearside and alittle on trhe rear, it\'s a very nice looking motor.  Trouble is - will if fetch it\'s asking price?

:mmmm

:mmmm

it looks very nice doesn\'t it?
Given the prices some ropey looking examples have fetched recently, I\'d say its well worth the money.
Mind you, anything can look good in a photo, be interesting to get the views of someone who\'s actually seen it.

CHC (RIP)

Sure does Ian but I think the Irish one has the edge, could just be the colour or possibly the fact it\'s an SA perhaps - silly bids are going in already!

Looking at the Irish rex the front bumpers look quite similar....hmmmm, may be it came over from Ireland or perhaps even the other way around?
