Hi everyone,
not sure if anyone is going to be able to help me here....
I recently changed my stereo from the standard to a in car dvd and screen.  However since doing so my back speakers don\'t work.  I believe i need to run a seperate feed to an amp which is hidden in the car somewhere, however i\'m not having much luck finding it.  My car has the ducted rear speakers and did have the original bose sound system in.  Can anyone help???

Do you mean you still have the bose tube round the boot ?

Phil

Mr J.T

right what you need to do is look at the wire that are goin into the orginal loom of your 7, there will be one goin in to the power block that is grey with a greeny blue line in you need to splise into this and attach the remote wire (blue) from your new stereo in to this wire everything else up as normal and that should do it!:D

The wire on my mazda loom that did the trick was the pale green and black, don\'t remember a grey/blue wire, also on the wiring diagram it is shown as light green and black.

Sorry if this confuses.
Regards
Phil

I was actually toying with the idea of setting up an internet business importing performance parts solely for mazda\'s with the company name Mazda bait, just to tempt all those mazda customers into a paying bite!

inevitably i\'ve given it a go at last but have caused some real damage!  I no longer have a 12v feed from the battery and can\'t find a blown fuse anywhere.  Has anyone ever suffered this problem???  And just to top it off i have a cobra alarm fitted and it won\'t arm as it must be spliced into the same circuit.  Somebody help please!!!

Heres the link to the wiring diagrams- needed them the other day when changing my rear speakers!! It has the bose system as well as the non-bose one included, very useful!!
