Throttle body gasket

Just had the UIM of for the first time to replace coil packs and the gasket between the throttle body and uim has fallen apart as per.

Got a new one ordered but really dying to take the car out for a blast so the question really is - can i drive the car without the gasket or should i just be patient and wait for the new one to arrive?  :3Confused
