Could be many problems, is the handbrake sticking on?

Could be the pistons are corroded.

If you get stuck...I have 3 sets of standard rear callipers if you want to change them.

i suppose i would start with

Jack up car
remove wheel
remove pads
make sure that the piston moves as it should
if not - attempt to free it off ( move it in and out )
failing this - speak to AtomicRex ;)

Rear Callipers are £30 each or I have some gold looking ones that are £35 each.

Postage would be £15 all in.

yeah, they do.

Get yourself a piston winding tool. £20 from halfrauds or cheaper from a local motor factor place. You can do it with a screwdriver but you\'ll lose fingers!!

FD3S Efini

what size apart are the holes in the winding tool?

Kris

ok just striped both rear brakes no binding at all, he didnt realise about the LSD which makes turning the wheels a little difficult, guna go back and settle the score and educate him a little and if he fails to accept his mistakes then a complaint will be going into VOSA or whoever deals with MOT\'s

CHC (RIP)

Sounds to me this guy doesn\'t know his job at all.  I\'d be taking mine to another station.  If it fails again, okay you do have a problem but if not I\'d be putting a complaint in.  What the ministry would do is put through a test vehicle to see how the station perform.
Thought for the day!  Is the Mot station joined to a garage that could offer to do any repair work for you?  Could it be he\'s on their pay role?
