Hi guys.

I can\'t for the life of me remember if the FD used to do this before...
If you don\'t have the key in the ignition can you turn the heater and fans on at all?

Recently battery is losing charge, so the alternator may be stuffed, unless for some reason the powers being drained.

Nothings changed iirc, just noticed that I can turn the fans on is that normal lol

No, the key needs to be on in order to turn the fans on.  At least for US spec models.

Hrm I thought as much. Its not good as I left my fans turned on when I left the car to come back to a drained battery the next day. Any ideas on what could suddenly cause this to happen?
The only thing I did was stick a stereo back into the car, however when I pushed it into the recess something must have touched and a 15a fuse in the drivers footwell blew.

The fuse for for the cigarette lighter, and stereo. Replaced the fuse and these are now workin, however the fans stay on.

Is there a fuse/relay that controls these???

Cheers

Looks like the turbo timer when a little funny...

Disconnected the TT, tested car fine. So plugged it back in again, and it\'s still fine, so I can only assume that there was something up with this!
