Thought I\'d put some pics up of the Trax show from Sunday. I know MRC didn;t have a stand this year, so I thought I\'d share the pics from those of us who were there with FDUK in case anyone was interested

Great turnout for our stand, though I was wondering why we got stuck in a field miles from fduking anywhere again when there are endless indentical Ford Focusses (Foci ) and Saxos cluttering up the main infield :(

Look; it\'s my car! At a show  She started the day about 100 miles old and ended it about 450 and didn\'t miss a beat all day, bless her. I have to hand it to J at Super 7 for rebuilding it in like three days flat just so I could make it, mucho kudos! I really cannot emphasise enough just how much work Jason and Lee must have put into this to do it in such a short time, and I owe them a massive debt of grattitude

Nik da Greek

The ONLY limited edition Type Ronnie RX-7 with limited edition gold FDUK stickers, probably the rarest rotary car in existance...in fact, utterly unique

Why is carbon so lovely and yet so fduking hard to photgraph properly

Note to self....must remember not to fill memory card with nothing but pics of Marky\'s car next time :o

Still not sure if this sorta thing ought to be allowed......it is quite funky though, in a metrosexual kind of way :D

That\'s enough FDUK stand for now, we went off for a wander, and as usual, there\'s the bizarre mix of old skool cool...

...and brand new kudos....

...understated workmanlike rock and roll ;)...

....and overblown "look at me, I\'m a dick" trying too hard ...

Plenty of cool cool cars about though, as usual I just like the shapes and colours :D

Saw this green thing parked off in a bit of gravel with its mates...

Supercar mini-paddock had some interesting things to look at;

Rare new Fezza not on fire pic :D

I still find the styling on the Enzo rather awkward from many angles, meself, but it is undeniably an awesome thing and I guess I\'d lower my standards to have one if it was offered :D

Mad old MG SV-R, I love these just cos they\'re wrong on so many levels, but then so am I hahaha

Can\'t miss the Ultima GTR in the car park, it\'s bright

....and fast

....with a funky ol oiling system, how much for these fittings, Colum?

....guess it stops quick, too

Nik da Greek

Nice new Ford GT

Still like nice shapes and colours, I think it was the LSD-influenced kids TV I had to watch in the 70\'s :o

TVRs are just insane whatever angle you look at :)

On a more serious note, I think this sort of thing has to stop;

This yellow FD was the DEMONSTRATOR () for a certain aftermarket bodywork supplier, and if this is the absolute best that they can make their products fit for the purpose of exhibition given as much time as they want and access to their entire stock, just imagine how shocking they\'d be when you got them on your car in a dark, cold wet garage in November

Note the neat line of pre-drilled rivet holes.....that come nowhere near actually being in the right place, and have had to be re-done  By God, this sort of thing makes me angry, what a horrible thing to do to a self-resepcting FD :( Sad thing is, it looked OK from twenty paces away

Movin on....bizarrely cool lowrider pushbike stylee :D

Ceramic coated manifold just looks like intestines to me, maybe I\'m odd though. :o

Shoulda gone for pink hahaha

Nice paint effects

Nik da Greek

Dunno if it\'s wrong that such a puposeful car as a RS500 Cossie should be made into such a show car (discuss :)) but it don\'t \'alf look good

This was a bit of an odd thing....

....to find in a MkI MX-5

Splitscreen VW camper van hides a Dodge Viper underpinnings and engine :D

Doriftuu stylee

Funky aero.....wonder if it works

Mmmm, nice shiny Skybus

This thing featured in inbRedline magazine recently, and was on their stand...GTR 35 from the front

....Stagea the rest of the way. Not sure what the point is, but strangely cool

Dunno if this Fiesta has stance or not, but I like the ridiculously wide banded steelies anyway

There were a smattering of Fds about in the general parking, sorry, no idea who\'s this one is though

Nik da Greek

Bizarre motors pop up all over the place too

Very cool though, and right hand drive too

Stu\'s FD was just sat here minding it\'s own business and looking ridiculously hard in it\'s used and abused state

PC? No....funny?....errm, you decide

Some of this drifting nonsense was going on as well. the Pink Batter of Devonshire sent his toy up to play, and very fantastic and mad it looked/sounded too :D

Nik da Greek

It only rained for the drifting, which seemed to make it hard for the drivers. Dunno, a sport that\'s all about breaking traction and they can\'t do it in the rain, what\'s that all about  :D Still, provided some good pic opportunities

fashion is temporary, style remains. Or is it the other way round  whatever, James ploughs his own furrow no matter what :D

More cool steel wheels

Errrr....WTF!

Normally I hate airbrushing on motors cos it\'s generally done really really badly and looks like it was done by a six year old, but this truck\'s stuff was obviously actually done by someone who could paint....

Cossie YB powered Talbot Sunbeam...no wonder it was so fduking quick!

Nik da Greek

Old skool Datsun cool

...and new

Carbon wide-arch Mini

More layydeee airbrushing (though think this one\'s a wrap)

Another random unknown FD, though I liked his carbon splitter and the Apexi bumper

Much as I hate to flatter his ego any (he does enough of that himself hahaha :p) Ross\'s attention to detail and skills are above excellent as always, even just on the intake hardpipe

Matt\'s V8 beastie was there too, but I\'d run out of both memory card and batteries by then, so sorry there\'s only a couple of pics

Nik da Greek

And to finish, a few more of the FDUK stand. Sorry if I didn\'t post any up of your car, I did try to get everyones but soz if I missed you :o Also haven\'t bothered with any of my on-track pics of the boys, my little feeble lens isn\'t up to it, you\'ll have to wait for Steve and Gary and Phil with their stalker-spec lenses to post up :D

Love the detail of the biohazard logos in the KnightSports diffuser panels

This is weird...Kieron\'s strangest bit on the car....a dead cricket imported all the way from Japan in the engine bay

Did I mention my car made it up and back, btw? :D
