Quote from: David Nock;710501Hi Russ...Might have been another nice chap with wise-wife you met, \'cos we\'ve never been that far from home. But yes, I do really want a glass sunroof.
When Carl at Hayward South had the £250 one I did try to do a back - door deal with Steve, up here at Hayward North in Doncaster. I think I offered £150 for it but before I could blink it had gone for the £250 price tag.

So that straddles the fence a bit I think. Carl had a price which was supported by a quick sale, I had my top price limit which didn\'t buy the roof. It\'s as Syebba (Stu) says above - simples. But I\'ll keep watching out for your next offering with interest.

C822, Yes, I had that logged from it\'s appearance on ebay that time.....good to know where it went to.

For good measure I\'ll include your email on a list of 1st Gen spares available to people who are seeking parts. I trust that\'s OK.

Dave

Thanks Dave, I\'d be grateful to you for including me as a potential supplier...

I only just saw your post, so sorry for the slack response!

I\'ll be selling the car very soon now, so I\'m sure you\'ll see it appear on ebay.  If it doesn\'t sell, I\'ll have even more spares to sell!!!

I\'ve actually sold a reasonable amount already, but the now infamous moonroofs are still available...

Have you got ALJ 535 Y in your list? Blue 1982 Elford Turbo?

I own it - in Tardebigge, between Bromsgrove and Redditch.

Its been off the road on a SORN for a couple of years, and I am now having a go at getting it through an MOT...

Welcome John,
Hope the mot goes well, I know Tardebigge quite well as I work for Anglo Welsh narrowboat holidays and we have a base there.
I suspect Ian65 will be in touch with you soon as he is doing an elford conversion, I also have an elford set up but its on the garage floor.
Keep us posted, would love to see some pics.
Keith...

Hi John and welcome.

I hadn\'t got ALJ so thanks very much. You\'ve done all my work for me with your post, all except type it into the Spreadsheet, so life is deffo getting easier.

I\'m a bog standard street running man, so limited knowledge of Elfords....As said Ian is heavily into them at the moment.

Lots of help, requests for help, fun and interest on here. It\'s a nice forum.  :WaveBye

On another bodyshop note, I\'ll mention that Rxmotors (Tim)....(rxmotorsuk on ebay community) are selling a 1st Gen TWR (copy) Rear Spoiler and a pair of Elford Side Skirts...both on the bay.

Andy has told me he is going to break his S2...

Car has not been on the road since \'97 and it seems the previous owner was going to do an Elford conversion. This engine turns over but Andy has not heard it run.

It also seems there is a spare Elford (parts not engine??)some Sonic wheels and another spare engine/gearbox?

Lorra lorra filler though (bog for our NZ members)

Contact Andy on 07966773304. Also have his e mail if required.

Thanks mate.....Dave

FMOC there for grabs if it doesn\'t leak, I wonder if Ian is still after one. I\'m no expert but I don\'t think the engine will run with the HT leads wrapped around the dizzy like that!:Giggle
