Well it took 10 months and a lot of headaches, some still waiting to be resolved, but two engine and a rebuild later I made RS7 in the T11 yesterday.

This is a \'thank you\' post for all the guys who\'ve relentlessly offered their help, support and advice during my frustration helping me to keep my enthusiasm up.

Without the forum and it\'s members I\'d have given up long before now.

Special thanks to both Clive An Carl [Hayward Rotary] for sharing my grief on a weekly basis.

Having finally got to drive the car for a couple of hundred mile - I love it.

It\'s been two or three years since the FD and the T11 seems much more fun, more like a go-cart, light and nimble.

So I may have missed what summer we had and most of the club events but as long as it\'s not raining the roof will be down.

Cheers guys

Hey John,

The car looked great and the smile on your face as you drove it said it all.

And you know, I still love the FD but somehow I found I was also looking at the 1st and 2nd gens quite a lot yesterday and thinking maybe .....
