On ebay, but not looking in the best of health.

Thanks Tim, Stu....Gone straight into \'Scrappers\' file I\'m afraid. At least Weatherleys (Sellers) have been straight about it...they did say it\'s rusty.   :2Confused

Good find Dibs, there\'s alot of S2\'s surfacing at the moment.

Yes the funny thing is I was once told that the last year of the series 3 (85) that there were only some 120 odd sold, I don\'t know how true that is, but it would appear that a good few of those are still about.

Latest Totals for 1st Gens if anyone is interested:

.........................ROAD/TRACK.........SORN/PROJECT........UNKNOWN

Series 3.......................47........................83.........................19

Series 2........................22........................38..........................6

Series 1.........................4.........................13..........................3

Where \'Unknown\' means reasonably certain there\'s a car somewhere but No Reg, so cannot assess road going or not.

And totals include Eire, where 3 of the 4 road/track S1\'s live.

Anyone want a Rough Location guide to all the above (nothing confidential as usual) - please let me know with an e mail address. (Excel file which doesn\'t post up here ).

Inspector Nock,
Is your list increasing or decreasing with time?
Seem to be finding a lot of new ones.
ta stu.

David Nock (RIP)

Increasing this year Stu, List was 187 total in January, Now 235 total.

It seems very variable though, some months ziltch, then there\'s a glut all at once.

It will be fascinating to see if there\'s a peak, after which it goes down and down as cars are scrapped. Interestingly, the road/track cars are not going up very much, most of the increase since Jan has been SORN cars. (In fact there are 2 less road going S3\'s than there were in January, even after adjusting for summer-running only cars. S2\'s on the other hand have been turning up quite a lot in road going form).

All very complicated, I\'m looking for patterns but don\'t really see \'em.

Numbers should peak once youve got most of em,say another 2 years, then there should be a decline due to scrappers, well thats the/my theory anyway.
