I\'d be up for this if it were nearer me. Well somewhere in the north of the country really. If this day is popular (which it looks like it will be) whats the chances of running another day nearer me?

About 50 miles from the Scottish boarder on the M6 (just at the bottom of the lake district). York, Elvington & Oulton are all easy enough to get to around an hour and a half drive. There is probably other smaller venues that could do this sort of thing too. Im sure there would be plenty of interest as we don\'t really get many events up this way.

Adrian - would Blyton be close enough for you (it\'s closer than Cadwell). It\'s just south of S....horpe (blimey, the swear filter just cut in trying to say "Sc u n thorpe" :3Confused). AA route planner says 165 miles form Kendal via motorways (less miles if you go across country).

Crissy, if "yes" from Adrian, maybe Blyton could be used as a "Finmere" type venue??

Maybe. Its still a 3+ hr drive each way though.

I just kinda suck having to travel so far to do an event of anykind. Plus I don\'t think 6+ hrs of driving plus track time in 1 day is that good for the old FC!

the nearest Shell garage is in Bicester, 7.41 miles away BUT there is a huge Tesco a couple of miles down the road and they might do 99 RON fuel there (can\'t remember)

OK, we\'ll see what we can come up with. NickD seems to know of a suitable venue near Newcastle so if there were 20 people min. interested we could ask him to take it further.
