Not much of this sorta thing here but a god sorted \'Rod is always worth a look. These boys invented the concept of "stance" (*spits*) after all

This is rarer than a rare thing...the only (we believe) genuine Dodge Daytona in the UK. This was a homologation special that Dodge had to produce to allow the car to run in NASCAR and compete with the similarly-styled Plymouth Superbirds. These were capable of 200 mph and just imagine a pack of these drafting on the banking at the double ton inches apart from each other. Trivial factoid...the Daytonas were instantly discernable from a Superbird by the rear wings being painted black from the factory, so this one has had paint at least once in its life

"No Mopar, no car" as the saying goes. Santa Pod\'s traditionally leaden skies provided a constantly photogenic background

Junkyard Chevy pickup sounded utterly mad, the v8 equivalent of a big bridgeport, but sadly had running issues and didn\'t compete. Looked brilliant though, complete with ladders and stuff screwed down in the bed :D

the Temple....

New Camaro SS with kit (already, on a car that\'s not officially for sale over here yet!). Massive wheels and brakes, carbon diffuser and splitter...

Holden Maloo is basically a Monaro VXRwith a pickup body on it, surf\'s up dude :D

More \'Cuda loveliness, a 440, this is the one tha you want!

Not every day you see something as hugely vast as a Bel Air....that needs a parachute

Side-exits too :D

MOT failure...shoulda gone for a stretch....oh, wait, it\'s exposed tread that matters isn\'t it? Well, that\'s OK then :)

Another forgotten ponycar, the Mercury Cougar. A gentleman\'s express based on a stretched Mustang chassis, they brought style, handling (for a live rear axle anyway) and a touch of class to the genre

Just for a bit of a change, there were some properly sorted drag bikes there too, rather oddly modern Jap tackle though

Taz Racing had their own little paddock, including this rather well appointed \'Vette

complete with subtle flame job so well done it was barely visible except at the right angle

They also had their hillarious drag Fiats

...a nine second Ford Anglia

...and a few other fairly acceptable jalopies

Paint on this \'stang was absolutely gorgeous, but very hard to photograph properly

Buick Skylark, third instalments of "forgotten musclecars" and again, these featured some of the most powerful production engines ever to come out of America

Maybe I\'m weird....Ok, Ok.....but I really like these new Mustang GTs

Burnout competition...not easy to photograph hahaha

Smokey and the Bandit car, much nicer in blue with less livery :D

The new Challenger does look great but strangely almost anonymous in this company

New Shelby Cobra \'Stang

Nik da Greek

...right then, that\'s enough pretty pictures...some racing :D

Launch

LAUNCH

Axle tramp

STUPIDLY fast Anglia

lovely tough looking blown matt black Goat (GTO :))

Could run out of "" smilies here...

another rear Hoosier being tortured for a living

.....and another

Nik da Greek

fastest Viva van in the West :D

this black Popular got a good two feet of air every launch despite the wheelie bars (vid to follow)

Camaro capable of hitting eights. That\'s "eights"

This is the madman who posted a seven despite running over his own front mudguard

\'Vette reaches for the sky

They get there with cubes, we get there with blowers but we ain\'t so different I think :)
