Admiral FD3S Insurance

Just thought I\'d chip in.
 
Currently I\'m insured with Admiral.
 
I am/have:
 
24 Years old
7 years on my license
5 years NCB
6 Points (2 x SP30 back in August 2006)
 
1992 Mazda RX7 Type R1, totally standard
Toad Cat 1 Alarm/Immob
 
I got insured Fully Comp with Admiral for £1068...which IMO is quite good after hunting around for ages.
 
BUT what I really wanted to recommend is Greenlight. They may have been mentioned here before but so far they offer the best price and cover Ive seen so far.

They specialise in modded and high Group cars.
You fill out a quote online, :Typing it\'s all on one page so not too tedious.
They get back to you by email and Txt with your price.
 
They quoted me £667 (with all the above details) for Fully comp PLUS racing day cover.
They ONLY clause is that you MUST have driven a high performace car similar to an RX7 for at least 1 year e.g. Nissan 200SX or something like that.
If you have then you should be quids-in.
 
Now on the phone they didn\'t ask for proof, or regisrtation numbers, just "what cars have you driven before?"
 
I AM NOT TELLING YOU TO LIE BUT YOU NEVER KNOW!
 
Next year, I am going with them as I will be over 25 and wont have to declare my points. Yay!
 
Anyway, good luck..I know its a b@stard getting insurance on these lovely cars but to quote Woolworths...its well-worth-it.
