As the title says I require a glove box lid as I have just snapped mine leaning on it to hard.

My interior is the grey..

Cheers

and what about a centre console lid or complete centre console :)

Here\'s the most recent list I\'ve got of cars breaking, but been no additions for a while.

The Red S2 in Ipswich and Red S3 in Heanor (Derby) should have Grey Interior trim?  But could be pricey?

Hope you get something.

Ive got a weird issue with my car at the momment the god damm main fuse keeps blowing!!

i have take it for a drive yesterday and all was fine and now today nothing no reds, now accecories no nothing

today ive went through about £20 in 60amp fuses for it :( back to the drawing board and a shyte load more 60 amp fuses :(

Fusible link or fuse? I\'ve got wiring diagrams if you can say which.

Or did you dispense with the links \'cos I remember someone put something else in their place on one car?

Does it blow with ignition being turned on or as soon as you put the new fuse (link) in. If it\'s the latter case does that mean headlight circuits?

If it\'s with ignition being turned on, can you drop off all downstream non essentials from the fuse box to try and ID which one blows the fuse when you plug it back in.

Yeh i have replaced the original fuseable links with fuses as per  sim_rx3\'s  advice from ausrotary http://www.ausrotary.com/viewtopic.php?f=16&t=110012

Its basically when i go to turn the key it blows the main fuse which is 60amps..

The wife has been out like a good apprentice with the little one and purchased a few more for me. Ill be trying to start from bare and do some continuity testing on the 12v ign from the barrell etc to hopefully find the issue but the blood pressure gets the better of me and wants to smash the car to a million bits..

Hope to have it sorted tomorrow other wise ill have to find a auto eletrician to come out and fix it coz i dont have the time and i want to get it tuned within the next few weeks to hopefully attend rotorstock

Right, so the 60amp fuse just replaces the centre fusible link which feeds the car systems through the fusebox. Not likely to be a fault in the headlights or retractor circuits then? Because on most cars they\'re not usually sub-fused beyond the fusible links for safety reasons (sudden black-out on a winding road at night).

So yeh, continuity testing on the outgoing circuits would deffo be the next step. Unfortunately I\'ve found that sometimes it\'s not easy to distinguish between a normal reading on a circuit which includes a motor or solenoid and a reading of a circuit where there\'s a short inside the motor or whatever it is.

If you do decide to try plugging more fuses in I\'d certainly try to drop all the non- essential fuses out of the fusebox first to see if that will isolate the faulty circuit.

If you\'re wondering why a 60A fuse is blowing before a sub fuse, it all depends on the time characteristics of the individual fuses. The fusible links would be very slow blow, giving time for the sub fuses to operate, whereas the 60A fuses might be relatively quick acting.

Good Luck.....Dave.
