after chippin a tip on my 96fd3 i\'ve decided to try and recoup some of my losses, so i\'ve sold power fc and commander, in order for the car to still move i bought standard ecu, the guy who i bought it off said it would just be a case of plug and play, sadly it aint as the plugs are different, does any1 know if the standard plugs are modded for power fc or not or have i bought the wrong. serial number for standard ecu is n3a7 18 881c, any help wub b appreciated, cheers.

forgot to say it came off 92 fd3, does this matter?

i believe the 91-95 fd is 8 bit and 96-98 is 16bit and have different plugs.
what model was your pfc?
fd3s4 or fd3s5?

if your pfc was fd3s5 then you have the wrong stock ecu.

you have a 96 car and trying to use a 92 ecu, they wont work, you need to find someone with a 96-98 stock ecu
