In Japan on the 7th July (07/07) they celebrate "Sevens day" and there are loads of RX-7 meets arranged.

This year, we thought it would be great to emulate this, Matt on FDUK is organising a meet up north and Henning on FDUK is going to organise one in London.

Unfortunately 7th July is a Wednesday this year, so it be something after work.

He is thinking about a bit of a pub meet with maybe a few rolling shots on the motorway. He really wants to bring the 3 Rotor but it doing 5mpg means he can\'t go too far!

He was thinking maybe somewhere near WGT as there is a pub just near J18 of the M6 that has a big car park and of course M6 is just there for some rolling stuff

This is the pub and they are expecting us :)

Unless someone else knows of somewhere different with easy access parking for a few cars.

Who\'s up for this?

There are about 15 FD\'s off FDUK coming. Would be great to get some 2nd gens and 1st gens there too.

btw possible England semi-final that day, unlikely to make it that far but if so, think turnout may be low

I was thinking about a bit of a London prowl making a lap of the middle of town taking in some sights and getting seen a lot. Maybe a tunnel run on the way home?

Unless someone knows of somewhere with easy access parking for a few cars, I think we\'ll have to skip food and just settle for some tire kicking and sightseeing.

I walked over to Smithfields Market this morning and there seems to be enough places to park. It\'s as good a place as any to start. I\'ve created a route in google maps which takes in Tottenham Ct Road, Euston Road, Park Lane, Houston Road and Embankment.

Cheers for the point in the right direction had to join to read the thread funny that because I own an FC.
Anyway would love to go but it seams that its for FDUK members with an FD, I read the northen thread and that was open to all rx7,s is anyone with an FB or FC going to the london meet?

I\'d seriously doubt they would be bothered if your in a 1st gen or 2nd gen. Just post your interest. They are sound guys and I would expect them to welcome you aboard.
