Hi all, I thought Id post up some pics of my car, its a 1969 Vauxhall Viva which is getting a 12a inserted....It was going to be an XE engine but after seeing other rotary conversions Ive decided to go with a carb 12a.

I wont get the engine and box till friday but here are a few pics of the car. I started the resto at the end of summer last year, didnt need much bodywork really just wings and a few localised repairs. The shell has been painted inside and out in Ford Electric Blue.
I have used a Ford english rear axle, fitted with an LSD and HD shafts( should handle the power ok...)

Can anyone tell me where to find a Weber IDA and manifold for the 12a?

I remember a V12 viva doing the rounds not so long ago - Viva\'s are so underrated...should go really well with a rotor in there :wave

Cant wait to see this in action good choice, i had a1975 viva that had a v6 essex very fast as they are fairly light cars, a rotary engined one will be awsome
Lead me not into temptation, I can find it myself...
But i can always do with some help now due to, my advancing years!

Haha,I would like to say I was a little rebel but unfortunately not-I knew the chap who ran it at the time and he let me and a mate tag along.

I have 12a 5 speed gear boxes. How many do you want.I can also arrange freight at cost to you just to help out which would be £7 plus the vat.
they are all bagged up and ready to go if you want one then just swap your shifter over. Job done
