If you have some bits and pieces that are no longer needed, taking up space and could be of help to the Rotary comunaty heres a great chance to make some room,

If you intend on bringing something along to sell please put your name below this post and that way we will know how big an area you will all need,

As we get nearer to Rotorstock maybe you can give an us an idea of what your bringing to sell, but can we please have nobody jumping on to try and buy from this thread as this will make our "Rotary" Auto Jumble at R7 poinless  :o

Have you checked this idea out with the \'Pod Police\' as they may well see it as trading.

Just a thought.

John makes a valid point and whilst I can\'t see any sort of problem as this is something "in house" on our own stand I will check,

Few things about this, we will "borrow" some of the barriers and make a enclosure this is so we do not have people piling up parts along side cars and have the public breaking their necks, yes we have liability insurance that all clubs have to have but they may dent our cars on their way to the deck, and we wouldn\'t want that would we !

You will be solely responsible for looking after and selling your parts "NOT Mazdarotaryclub"

I would suggest that the stand should be sufficiently occupied that you should be able to lay your parts out and put a name and mobile number on display, hopefully safe in the knowledge that as this is our Rotary community day and that no thieving will take place, however if you see somebody rapidly making off with something they shouldn\'t then extreme Rugby tackles are allowed :D

would it not be better to just advertise the stuff you all have on here, then take whatever you sell along to meet the buyer and exchange the parts? otherwise your gonna be at a show and stood around trying to sell stuff? nothing has the potential to go missing then either.

Several members have asked for this, as its their club we need to do this if enough come forward to make it so,

As I said hopefully people won\'t have to stand with their parts all day as they can leave contact details,

Don\'t wish to sound negative, but I can see two problems with this. One is that the Pod will probably want to separate us (or the Club) from huge sums of money for a trader pitch :(

....the second is that you can\'t even fit a small suitcase in a standard FD boot, no idea what an FC etc are like but can\'t imagine they\'re much better. Since my boot will already be full of toolkit (it is a rotary after all), CD changer, battery box, fire extinguisher (all of which are bolted down so have no choice but to bring them) and of course other RotorStock essentials; tent, sleeping bag, gin, make-up bag, spare pants etc (some of these may not be true lol :D) it will leave precious little space for bringing spare chunks of car to sell. Unless anyone\'s interested in an autojumble where everyone\'s selling spare fag lighters and cupholders cos that\'s all they could fit in :rollin

exiled-viking

but i got a trailer so i can bring mine in that:Giggle:Giggle:Giggle but yes i bet this will be a no go-er due to the pod police, never mind if we do not try to do theses little tweeks to shows it can get to the same faces:2Rolleyes same old routine:Snoring but the R shows always seem to go down well:Thumbsup!

Nah you can get loads of stuff in an FD;),

We had our U/K spec FD for many years and used to take the full size club gazebo we still use plus table and loads of other stuff, even had to go single turbo to pull it all along :3gears-rh,

Must be that the U/K spec FD comes with the Tardis boot option :Giggle:Giggle

I will talk to the pod on Tuesday and see that this is all O/K anyway and let you know ,:WaveBye
