Im looking for a new radiator of a second hand one in good condition for my FD.

Ive been looking at Koyorad n-flo but where could get one of these.
Just wondering where you guys have bought yours from.

Also i would be looking at upgrading the fans, so any advice there?

Many thanks for the help

I got a Koyo through Clive. Cheap they arent though. It was a shade over £500 I think.

alot of people are getting the 52mm thick one off ebay for £100 and having good results with it.

Frost

i was looking at the ebay ones but just unsure about the quality of them and well when it comes to cooling your rotary theres nothing better than quality products

turbotoaster

there are a few track cars running them if you need some results, ill have some results next month aswell as ill be fitting mine behind a 4 1/2inch thick cooler, that will test it lol

Would want £250 for the lot and its in good working order

I think im going to buy a koyo Nflow from ebay but which seller to go with, anyone bought one from the US, if so who was the seller?

Oh the boost pipe is holding nicely =)

Koyo rad = £4-500
New engine caused from overheating = £2-3k

I know what I would rather spend more on :)

Well im running a cheap one from ebay on my track FD and tucked behind my front mount it saw 86c constant on the motorway and went up to 106c after a really good thrashing on the track (last saturday so was baking)... Dont see a reason to swap it now.

Prof is running a cheap one in his FC, its started to leak more so he is going to have to change it, it seems the core and the end caps on the cheap ones are fine, it just depends on how good the welder was that put them together!

you were one of the guys i was thinking of.

Theres a car racing in the nippon challenge with one and loads of them on the road.

Unless someone could prove to me how much better a koyo was in terms of temps then i wouldnt bother

Frost

its the problems that prof has had with his that has put me off the cheap ones

Where u get yours one from Gavink?

turbotoaster

they are all made by the same company in china so getting them from different places doesnt really make that much difference

thats the cheapest vendor at the moment but id wait a few weeks till all the companys get a big shipment in thats coming from china as you will be able to get them for under £100 again
