as title

my FD had a alarm a clifford 50 concept with fobs and it worked no problem the i took it of the road to fit a apexi pfc and fort i get rid of the alarm as it was going off for no reson.

when i put the car back on the road (without a alarm) the central locking didnt work i.e have to lock the passenger side from the inside.

then i got some one to fit a new alarm for me and it still doesnt work.

Ive tested the locking thing on the passenger side and it works its like theres no power going to it all the cables look fine ive herd about a door lock timer unit but cant find it ive been tearing my hair out about this for two days now and getting ....ed off.

help please somebody.....

This is why i posted to contact me and i would have sent you the clifford manual and you could have removed the whole lot without problems. Also to stop your alarm triggering all you have to do was put it in valet mode till you have time to sort it out.

if you look at the drivers side door lock/unlock switch there are two cables at the bottom of it. one goes to the drivers keyhole and the other i presume goes to some sort of lock/unlock switch that powers the passenger side door lock/unlock solenoid.

that right thats what im having problems with i think it attached to the door lock but unsure how to fix maybe i can rewire it?? the door lockrelay is fine and the passenger side is fine it the drivers side lock thats the problem.

was it working before you took out the alarm

this should help diagnose the fault the easy mazda way step by step

right ive done this and according to it its the door lock switch (door lock) im guessing its the door lock its self so i need to buy a new door lock?

When removing the car alarm what did you remove from the door. Was there a solenoid? Where was it connected take a pic of location.

i didnt remove any thing from the door. theres a solenoid in the door next to the lock for the fob and left the wires alone and now the solenoid is wired to my new alarm for the fob and that works fine the passengers side dosent regardless of the having the alarm or not..
