a very low one ????

not sure mate tbh the wheels came from a 260/80 nissan so what ever the offset is for one of those :)

Ah right fair enough. I\'ve found a company in the US who still produce steel wheels with 110x4 and 114x4 stud pattern and some of the designs are pretty cool-like retro stock car style so I\'m thinking of going that route maybe. I like that you are keeping your wheel style retro I\'m not that keen on modern wheels on a 1st gen.

i dont like the new style wheels on them either nice simple ones do me (kinda like me i guess)
i remember a old set of steels dad had on his e49 charger back in nz they were a star shape i realy liked them
thb i like almost all old skool wheels not a fan of these massave 20" chrome rims and crap they are producing today

Michael they have to be the ugliest wheels man!!

please dont put something like that on a car with a kit!! Those US Racer wheels or "kidney beans"as we call them in australia are for the old holdens and the chevys alike..

yeah i have quite hefty arms but havent had any trobule with it then i was driving it around before i took it off the road plus it stops the misses driving it :Giggle

I had a steering wheel that size on a 79 rex, found it ok,chunkier than original wheel.
Still a lot easier than trying to park a cobra replica on 265mm front tyres without power steering!
ta stu..

Getting there!!
changing the dash is an awkward time consuming job, you\'ve got the worst bit over with!
