Ive bought an exhuast taken off a jap FC.

Comparing it to my old exhuast (from memory), the hanger\'s seem to be in different places.

Can anyone confirm if this is correct?

Cheers

hi mate you got it from me the hangers are in exactly the same place as the egi\'s just the whole system is slightly shorter which is why i didn\'t use it..

nt sure how different they are (m1tch will prob know more) but he had an exhaust made up based on my jdm fc and it didnt fit his uk fc.

The exhaust kinda fitted, I think the hangers were the same but for some reason the downpipe studs were rotated about 20 degrees different to my UK spec car, but hanger wise I believe they are the same for turbos, if its an EGI exhaust they might be slightly different as the EGI won\'t have a turbo to bolt to at the front and I think has a different cat layout, best thing to do is to try it and see lol although its the same chassis, so im sure it will fit :)

some gentle persuasion might be in order ;p

agree with mitch on this. Did you know that the cat has been gutted? Its great, means i don\'t need a decat!

hmm, wont be the first time "gentle persuasion" has been needed on this car :spank

Hi All,

Please excuse my ignorance but I have a similar query; I have two used after-market FC T11 backboxes that need fitting but have now seen they are shorter than the huge originals on the car. Have tried a couple of local garages but they need what appears to be some extra pipework in order to fit.
Has anyone any thoughts on this please, or can recommend a garage that could make parts up? I\'m not really in the know on this but ideally need the backboxes fitting before I can sell the car!

Thanks,

Mark
