Does anyone have any thoughts?

I\'ve seen one on ebay but it\'s too small. Also found another guy who will make custom ones but he doesn\'t reply to messages.

Any other suggestions? I don\'t want to pay a ridiculous amount :)

Cheers!
Paul.

Cheers folks. One last question, if the box is in the boot does it need to be a sealed box with lid, it can it be like the one alex posted?

BlitzBoy

depends for MOT purposes it will pass , if its going competitve track work then it has to be sealed per MSA rules unless its a sealed gel battery, I would defo go with one with a lid

Yep, agree with Blitz, unless you\'re running a sealed gel battery as I do you definitely want it in a sealed box in the boot.. nice and far away from the driving compartment if possible.

Demon Theives have a good range of products for this purpose, did you check there?

Hope it\'s ok for me to ask but what about the mot side. I am thinking of going for a vmount and want to move the battery to the boot but not sure if there\'s any probs for mot.

raceralexuk

For MOT purposes you\'ll need it to be housed in a sealed box as well. That\'s the only obstacle you have with moving the battery to the rear. Routing of leads etc is a non-issue as plenty of cars have their batteries in the boot as standard, such as BMW CSL\'s.

got to vote against the alu box\'s

they rattle quite bit. Do look good though

Sealed it is then. I currently have a marine plastic one but Steve G wasn\'t happy with it\'s sturdiness when he fitted it.

Tried Demon Tweeks, I think Summit may be the way to go, only problem being the pound is pants at the moment. I\'ll sort something :)

Cheers!
