So as some of you may know I\'ve owned this car before. I sold it at the end of 2008 and regretted it ever since so I asked the guy if I could buy it back and he agreed. It will serve as my daily driver/weekend hack around car so I don\'t really have a budget per-say to spend, i.e things will be done on the cheap.

Anyway, I went to the Okishima! meet today to have a chin wag and take a few pictures. Stephen Brooks of BBC/BDC fame did some filming with his new camera setup so expect an artsy film to follow.

The plan is to sell on the green wheels and then try and fit these -

Front - 17x9 +19

Rear - 18x11 +16

IF they don\'t fit, then I\'ll fit these -

Origin DNA02 17x9.5 +15

And thats pretty much it. I have some genuine Ganador mirrors on the way because the race-style ones on there are useless for actually seeing out of, although they are VERY light.

Other things done to the car are K-Sport coilovers [which feel crap so I may change these for HSDs], K&N panel filter, secondary throttle butterfly assembly removed, straight through exhaust system, stripped de-sound-deadened and painted interior, welded diff and S13 front lip. Simples.

the car looks awesome.

should look amazing on the works, they\'re my favourite wheel ever!

:waves: Hi Jord

Good to see some fitment going on on an F body - You\'ll probably need to prepare yourself for a barrage of abuse though! ;) :D

FC looks mint  are you staying stock body? IIRC the FC has slightly less clearance all round than the FD? I think the fronts should pop on no worries with the right tyre, may need a modicum of camber but something like a 215 should pop straight on I think.
Rears may be more of a challenge!

Yeah I\'m staying stock body, there don\'t seem to be many FCs running fitment on metal wings.

The fronts shouldn\'t be a problem as it is running 17x9.5+22 currently with 225/45.
The rears are the real challenge - they will stick out approx 9mm more than the current 17x9.5 +6 setup so some more metalwork fettling is needed at the back! I won\'t compromise ride height to make them fit however so if they really won\'t go I\'ll throw the Origin wheels on.

Btw I\'ve rolled my arches, and the 9.5J ET0 wheels I was struggling with are now absolutely fine, and I could easily fit larger under there if the car was lower!

Will get a pic for you later, but we\'ve rolled them to pretty much the max the arch roller could do :p

Jord

Have you pulled them at all or just rolled the lips flat?

dthebuk

his arches were flared abit... the car looked brilliant.
i recon it would suit the egi really well

Pulled about an inch either side. As I said, pretty much the max we could go with the roller tbh! Lip rolled in first, then gradually rolled out, although it\'s hard to make it pull evenly, it pulls easily (although getting it started was tricky) at the top, but the sides don\'t want to and if you\'re too aggressive will just give you a crease. Mine have a small crease but not bad. Also got to be careful that the flat bit above the crease line doesn\'t pop inwards.

Arch roller was this type:

Here you are, this is as she sits now (yes I\'ve cut the springs and STILL got this ride height!) Dampers are stock and uber soft, so she still rubs over bumps, can\'t wait to get coilovers!

And the pull on the arch - it might not look much, but go and look at yours, they\'re almost vertical from the fold line, whereas mine properly flare out now!

Jord

Coool, a bit of movement then, nice pull without it looking like a flare.

Glad to see its not just me with toe-in problems :D
