Security on a Jap spec FD

Does a 1998 FD have any security, like an imobiliser, as standard?

I did have a 99 spec that only started when the clutch was depressed but i\'m not sure if that was the standard on the 99 spec onwards or whether it was just that particular car. The 98\'s did not come with and form of security as standard.

you will hardly ever find secuirity on a jap import, they dont steal other peoples stuff over there...
