Picked up a t2 vert today and had a curious prob on the way home. Drove the car for about 80 miles then the dreaded buzzer came on but no warning lights:mad: pulled over as soon as i could but temps didnt rise and no loss of water:confused: so carried on now the buzzer will stay on but when i turn right it goes off. After realising this i started to do my impression of an f1 car warming its tyres and i would say that 98% of the time if i turn right the buzzer will go off:xconfused

My first thoughts were potentially loose wire or dodgy sensor any thoughts or help appreciated

Might have just found the answer. Ive just checked the oil level and its low  could this be the problem

If it\'s oil then the indicator on the idiot should be lighting up s well. Check they all come on when you have the key in the acc position. :wave

I thought the buzzer was just for the coolant level. That sensor sits on top of the rad and although the wire may look intact they do have a habbit of breaking away and hence putting on the buzzer, might be worth a fiddle with the ignition on and see if it comes on by manipulation.

is the oil and collant wires connected incorrectly thus low oil sends off the buzzer but low water would only show the light?

just an idea.

When I had my turb II cab when I used to corner hard and get lights flicker at the top of the dash I new my oil was a little low. Whenever I topped up the oil and cornered hard I never had this issue.

Cheers Guys. Just read the manual that came with the car and it does say the buzzer will go off if oil is low. Anyway just topped up and seems to be ok now (hopefully):o
