Wiper arm question on EGI... Why won\'t any wipers I buy fit :(

Hi,
 
I just wanted to see what kind of fitmens everybody has on there FC\'s? as I am having problems getting the correct fitments for replacement wipers.
 
The rear one on mine has the hook type fitment which is fine.  But the fronts have a different type of fitment and so far I have tried 2 different sets of wipers to no avail.  The plastic fitments on the fronts have both broke so I need the new replacement clips as well.

IIRC you can strip the plastic fitting off of the wiper arm and the slip on a new one from the fitting kit you get with the new blades. :wave

(It won\'t be exactly the same type, but it fits)

Thanks for the input Brett, but I have so far been unable to get this to fit.  I will have another look but am either totally useless / inept, or the wiper will just not fit :)

Are these arms original? They are pretty unique in their shape so its easy to spot. Might be worth a pic just to confirm. I use Bosch ones as they are excellent in quality and fit straight on no probs. I have a halfords trade card so they are half price!!.  This is quite a strange problem, all the arms are hook type ones,well they should be. I have a pair you can have for £10 inc postage if you want to change them.

Hi, thanks for getting back to me. Pictures attached below. They are certainly not hook ones on the front, they are just flat with a few holes in the end.
 
If they are different and you have the hook ones for sale, I would be happy to take them off your hands :)
Are they easy enough to fit?

my egi had these but the t2 had normal clip style, i went to a motor factors with the old wiper blade, they should have them or be able to get you some if they don\'t have them in stock.
Or get some regular clip type wiper arms of someone breaking an fc.

Same as most EGi\'s, sure I used one of the push plastic fittings over the end of the arm?  Never gave me any problems...

Or are you saying that nothing in the fitting kit will slide over the end of the arm?

Thats what im saying :)
Nothing in the fitting kit will clip onto the wiper arm.
