I looking into the possiblity of buying back my old EGi and have a set of wheels in the spare room cupboard that I\'d love to use.

They are 17x9 +19 (F) and 18x11 +16 (R). Front tyres will be 215/40 or 225/40 and rears are currently 265/35, although I can go to a 255/35 I think if needed.

Any idea if these will fit? I know the fronts will and the rears *should* as people I know have run 18x10 +10 which is only 6-7mm further in than how these wil sit. Its the rear tyre size that could cause a problem so if anyone knows the max width an FC3s can wear?

Also, are TII and EGi rear arches the same? I want to avoid overfenders if possible.

The wheels on my fc are 17inch x 8 + 20
not sure if ofset is correct but its around that but if aythng its more but the hub on the front is on the big side so you might need a spacer... i did :(

Jord

The car currently has 17x9.5 +22 so the front shouldn\'t be a problem, its the rears that concern me! :D

Send me the wheels mate and I\'ll have a check for you, lol

Im running 18x10 on the rear but cant remember the tyre size, offsets or the spacer size but will try and have a look when i get home

Jord

Can someone move this to the Wheels forum please? My bad!

I have 10J x 18" and a +20 0ffset there is still room to go as far as towards the shock, I cant give you anymore info on the outer appearance as mine has wider arches.

Try this as well:   http://www.1010tires.com/WheelOffsetCalculator.asp

compared to a standard wheel of 7J and 40 offset the wheel will stick out a further 75mm and be further away from the shock by 27mm

Thats a fair way to stick out, be brill on wide arches but not entirely sure for the standard arches. Also a 265 is far better suited to a 11J for sure unless you want a stretched look. I have a 265 on my 10J\'s.

Ah that\'s cool, well the car currently runs 9.5 +6 on rolled arches so my
setup would only have 9mm more poke. So a mild flare should do
it!

papercutout

Yeah, I\'ve just fitted 9.5J rears ET0 with 225/45\'s and as soon as the arches are rolled (only 1/2" needed) it\'ll be perfectly legal.

Jord

I think it\'s the tyre size that will be crucial. They have 265 at present, I think I need
something with more stretch.

good man let me know when you get round to it

well i have 17x9 et35 on the front and it required a 15mm spacer for coilovers as the wheel hit the locking rings

Jord

Thanks for the input but I know the front will fit already, as above they are 17x9 +19.
