Hi Chaps,

I have been given the information from the previous owner that my FD is using Wolverine semi-syn engine oil. I searched at Opie Oil and they don\'t sell Wolverine.

Can someone suggest me where to buy Wolverine Oil in the UK obviously?

Thanks in advance.

Sure its not valvoline? ^_^ plus its up to you what oil you want to use, check the synthetic vs mineral oil thread and decided what you want :)

ive never heard of wolverine engine oil, is it made by the guy from the xmen??? :Giggle if you goggle for it does not find anything, i think like m1tch said its possibly valvoline.  If you are doing a oil change then i dont really see a problem with changing to another make of oil.

Can I get the Weapon X brand oil instead?

Pumba_GT

Ahahah... LOL...
ChrisJDM: If you google it, there is Wolverine Racing Oil made from the states. This is hence I ask the question where to get one here in the UK if anyone known of any distributor here.

I will pop down to my garage and have a peep to the given engine oil by the previous owner. I am sure it\'s written Wolverine on the bottle. But I think Valvoline sounds very familiar to me too! :)

For your information, I want to keep the consistency for my next service, so I will use the same oil again. If I could get hold of the same engine oil, why not. If you know what I mean.

Yeah, I have read through all those post by Oilman and others regarding engine oils in this forum and also from my previous car forumsss..... I have decided to go in between the mineral and fully synthetic for my FD, ie semi syn.

Cheers.

dude, depending on your spec or FD, suggest you may as well just dump what\'s in there and replace with a more available brand??!! :Thumbs-up

Most peeps use mineral..... others use semi synth , fully synth - depending on engine mods etc etc.... OMP still there?, pre-mix.... blah blah
