Hi,

I have some Corbeau Forza\'s to put into my FC and just wanted to ask a few questions with regards to getting them in the car.  These are base mounted bucket seats and I had initially thought about getting the universal seat mounts from MRP.  But these look fairly high and as I am already quite close to the roof, I wondered if there were any other options?

Thanks

Bride rails will probably be your best bet

Agreed, the driver seat on the gearstick side is flat at the front, and doesn\'t bolt into the floor like the other parts of the seat mounts, so universal won\'t work.

Oh crap, please don\'t say Bride.  They are far too pricey.  Might have to re-think this :(

Thers some on fleabay for £70 each. or you could just try and fabricate something with the exising rails. thats probably what ill do once i get to that stage:yes

Just seen these, but with shipping they come out very pricey.  Think I will look down the fabrication route.

Thanks

I\'m fabbing something up too, not using the original mounts though. Probably welding bolts onto the cross rails and trying to get the seat level! Depending on how wide the shoulders on the seats are, you might have to move it quite a long way inboard, I know I will do! Or it\'ll hit the door...

Think I will have to do similar.  Looking at the seats, the previous owner has welded plates across the width of the base.  Im hoping these are of use for me.

Rx7boy - good spot, but that\'s for an FD, which is different to an FC (to my knowledge). Expensive too :(
