Started off when i had to move my car during a lunch break, it had to be moved or the MOD MP were going to ticket me lol. basically moved the car about 100 metres then had to get back to work. Next time i tried to start it really didnt want to know didnt even try to fire, soo went through the flooding fix and until yesterday no joy, got some jump leads and tried a final time before i was going to give up. JOY it started and idled fine for 10mins, went for a drive let everything warm up then put my foot down..... first turbo tries to boost oil pressure goes through the roof and i get a complete lack of power, however drives fine coolant temp fine oil temp fine. Thinking along the lines of a vaccum leak or fuel cut maybe?

Does the car sound like a tractor when it idles?

RXSpeedy

No it idles like it always has, few pops and farts but doesnt sound any different to what it always has done. Im tempted to put the apexi fc on the car and have a look at whats going on.

Yeah try and pull up some error codes, might just be a split hose or something, you shouldn\'t get fuel cut if you aren\'t boosting, do you have a new fuel pump or are you running the old OEM one?

If the car was perfectly fine before flooding I would give it another run to make sure that the car engine is cleaned out properly,

When you get back kneel down on the floor by the drivers door and see if the exhaust smells  hot, If that does it is possible that the cat has collapsed due to the fuel igniting it the cat

That is of course providing you still have a cat.

For people with cats reading this "if" your car floods, once restarting its really important NOT to rev the engine to clear the engine out, you need to let the engine warm up naturaly so you keep your cat safe

Here endeth the advise from the Cats Protection League (sorry writing the above, humor took over)

Hope this helps
All the best Clive

Im still using the oem pump but will try the apexi later today and see what the score is. I\'ll try another run later on to see if the problem is still there. Thanks for the advise though guys it\'s much appreciated.
