3rd gen hubs, cast? forged?

hey guys im doing a hub mod at the moment and im at the point of welding but i need to know if the front hubs are cast steel? forged steel? made out of thousands of little diamonds? lol

it just so i know what equipment to weld it with

Do you mean the actual flange the wheel mounts on, or the upright of the suspension?
