17x8 Enkei wrc tarmac evos and tyres. 5x114 et35

got a mate selling these Alloys that came from a Mitsu Evo, would they be the right offset for a FD?

Also what you guys think??? would be going on a yellow FD :p

anyone got pics of same or similar alloys on a FD??

Eddiedwards is in the process of fitting some enkei ev5\'s to his car, very similar wheel, they look like this, some lowering needed obviusly!

The style definitely suits the car, although those evo ones may be a touch narrow for the rear. Offset is fine though.

Offset fail! Weak fitment!

They will be something like 7.5/8j et in the low 40\'s all round - that\'s really not ideal for an FD. Even for a stick in the mud conservative fitment.

On the plus side, the centre bore is bob on.

You\'ll also probably need new nuts, as most of the later Evo wheels use \'top hat\' nuts.

So: cost of wheels + spacers to make them not hide in the arches + new nuts = cost of more suitable wheels in the first place.
And as a parallel equation: narrowish wheels + spacers to make sit flushish on outside = your car looking like a pram.

i think offset on these is around +30? might be too weak without spacers...

when I got my car she was sitting on a set of work rims that came off an evo, front fitment was OK, but the rear just looked silly:
